Writing & Research

This academic research paper considers how the three major learning theories: Behaviorism, Cognitivism, and Constructivism can be incorporated into microlearning. It synthesizes information from various academic studies demonstrating creative tech-based ideas.

As a senior undergraduate student at UMD I coauthored and presented a research paper at the American Association of Engineering Society 2016 conference in New Orleans. I worked with the Program Director and Program Coordinator of QUEST, a multi-disciplinary honors program.

This small-scale literature review reflects on the Ted Talk by Daphne Koller, founder of Coursera, and considers the strategy of facilitating "social presence" as a method of engagement in online learning.

I have started a blog on this site to informally discuss my findings and reflections in the instructional design world. The instructional design community is great at sharing knowledge and supporting one another.
