In this project I created sample episodes for a podcast and vodcast on the concept of "informal learning." I did a lot of research on this topic and discussed examples of informal learning making a major impact on learner mindset and actions. I also included strategies to implement informal learning in the workplace. I created a website with a color scheme, cover art, and marketing flyer to publicize this audio-series. Below are the design documents used for this project where I followed the ADDIE Model.
This is a sample video showing the process I use as a Business and Writing Center Academic Success Tutor at Purdue Global University. The asynchronous paper review option includes a media-rich approach where students get comments added to their Word document and a Screencast-O-Matic video explaining recommendations. I have seen this be a very successful and convenient method of immediate feedback and I think has the potential to improve student support in academia.
This screencast shows how to use the Mindmeister brainstorming tool to plan an online course. Mindmesiter allows for documents and links to be embedded in the mindmap and can automatically create to do list tasks. This video shows how to walkthrough an application and explain how to use it.
This video is the introductory walk-through for the Into the Job Market Badge Program. It explains how to navigate and complete the course in an engaging and effective way.
