Badge 1- Apply to Jobs

1a. Search for Jobs

  1. Submit screenshots of three jobs from three different job databases such as Indeed, Monster, Glassdoor, or LinkedIn.

  2. Write a paragraph for each job reflecting on why you are interested in it.

1b. Evaluate Jobs for Fit

  1. Select one of the jobs you submitted a screenshot of and conduct in-depth research on the company and position using Glassdoor, the company website, LinkedIn, and any other sources you can find.

  2. Write 3-4 paragraphs evaluating the job based on some of the factors listed in the article: 8 Criteria for Evaluating a Job Offer. If there are factors that are unknown write what your goal is in that category based on industry research. For example, if the salary is not listed, explain what your target salary range is and include research from average salaries for that position in your area.

  3. Submit a screenshot of posting in the Into the Job Market Facebook group either what job you are interested in and why or what questions you have about determining if a job is a good fit for you.
